About Palo Verde Artists

Solitude can be very good for creativity; but an artistic organization, as a platform for shared ideas, friendly support, education and a place to work is also good for our work and artistic spirit.

Five Reasons to Join our Club

Classes—We offer classes in watercolor, oil, pastels, acrylic, colored and graphite pencil, pen and ink, and drawing for artists at all levels of skill and experience, from beginner to advanced.

Exhibits and Sales—The club provides a number of opportunities for members to exhibit and sell their work—monthly exhibits in the club art room and nearby display cases, as well as the All Sun City Show in February, the Palo Verde Show in March, and the Arts and Craft Fair in November.

Fresh Perspective—The club facilitates sharing of ideas, experiments and critiques with other artists working in multiple media.

Art Room—The art room, with basic materials, easels, work tables, matting equipment, and an extensive library of art books, is available for member use any time there are no classes in session, and specifically, every Tuesday morning, year around. One afternoon each week a two-hour life drawing session is available.

Less than a tube of paint—Our dues are only $10 for a year; applications are at the front of the art room in the Sundial Recreation Center.

Membership is open to any RCSC card holder.

Art room is located on the upper floor in the Sundial Recreation Center
